Educational Philosophy

"Education is the passport to the future; For the future belongs to those who prepare for it today."

The purpose of schools is to prepare students to become productive members of society.

Students learn best when guided by a teacher or coach through discovery, experimentation,
                                    and supported by a
comfortable environment.

Teachers should focus on the importance of learning while teaching and practicing the content.

Schools and teachers must be concerned with 'how' students learn and not just the 'what'.

There are many different ways for a student to be 'intelligent'; they must have the opportunity to
                                     experience them all.

Students must build on basic skills and practice to accomplish higher critical thinking skills.

Multicultural experiences are important for students to learn and respect others and themselves.

The concept of lifelong learning is essential to the development of the learning community.
